Doors Open Days Celebrates 20th Anniversary
Doors Open Days, co-ordinated by the Scottish Civic Trust is an annual event where properties usually closed to the public, or which charge an entrance fee, are opened to the public for free.
Hundreds of properties in Scotland, including Viewings of private homes and behind-the-scenes tours of public buildings are open their doors on weekends throughout September.
Abigail Daly of the Scottish Civic Trust says: "There are big plans to celebrate Doors Open Day's anniversary and encourage visitors to discover the architectural and historic gems around the country."
