Increased Search Spend for Europe
A report by digital marketing company IgnitionOne suggests an increase in search spend in Q4 of last year led to more impressions, clicks and transactions.
A key finding of the report highlighted a 14% increase in search spend in Europe, 22% increase in clicks and 19% increase in clickthroughs.
According to the report, the U.S. had the best quarter in terms of search spend rising 22%. Retailers in particular did well enjoying a 26% increase which lead to a 42% jump in both impressions and clicks, and a 67% increase in transactions.
Year-over-year figures also shown growth in U.S. mobile search with a 317% boost in impressions and a 269% rise in spend.
