Founded in 1953, the Macsween family has been making authentic, award-winning haggis in Edinburgh for nearly 60 years.
Originating from an iconic butcher shop in Bruntsfield, the company is now run by 3rd generation Macsweens: Jo and James, out of a purpose-built premises in Loanhead - the world's first haggis factory!
Macsween's mission is clear: to introduce 10 million people to the joy of eating haggis in the next 10 years. And through the company's commitment to quality, tradition and innovation that ambition is well within reach.
Macsween now boasts an impressive range of traditional and vegetarian haggis and black pudding products and as a direct result of launching the single serve microwavable haggis, a whopping 250,000 new haggis customers were born!
